Funding, age and risk
This site is funded by one disclosed partner link and is written for adults aged 18 and over. It explains how to read a mark on a gambling page. It rates no operator and no issuer, it is not legal or financial advice, and it names no real issuer as bought, unexamined or lapsed.

The funding relationship
Every page carries a disclosure band above its first section. The partner link in the masthead and in the bands beside the copy is a sponsored link to a partner operator, and this site may be paid if a reader opens an account through it, at no extra cost to the reader. The link carries rel="sponsored noopener" and opens in a new tab.
That relationship matters on this desk for a specific reason. The subject is how much evidence a third-party badge carries, and this site carries commercial marks of its own - a partner link, a series name and a design. The protection is structural rather than a promise: there is no operator ranking anywhere, no review of any operator or issuer, and no recommendation of any testing house, platform, award or association on any page.
Age, risk, and the margin
The content is for adults only. Gambling carries a real risk of loss, including the loss of money a reader needs and the harm that follows it, and no arrangement described on this site changes that. Every gambling product is built with a margin in the operator’s favour, so the expected result of play over time is a loss for the player.
Nothing here improves the expected result
Reading a badge carefully does not change the arithmetic of a game. This desk helps a reader judge how much evidence stands behind a claim on a page; it says nothing about whether a wager is worth placing, and no page describes a system, method, signal or technique for improving a chance.
The controls that bind an account
Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion are the controls that actually constrain a gambling account, they are set with the operator, and the operator enforces them. A reader who wants to stop or slow down should use those rather than any judgement about a badge.
Support exists and is free
If gambling has stopped being entertainment, free and confidential help is available in most countries for players and for the people around them, and free debt advice exists alongside it. National gambling support services are searchable by country, and a bank can usually also block gambling payments on a card on request.
What this desk will not do
The subject is a claim made by a third party, and the weak point of a claim is the same as the weak point of a deception. This site therefore explains how to read a mark and stops at the point where an explanation would become a tool.
- It does not describe how to produce a badge, a review score or a certificate, and it gives no method for making a mark look like more than it is.
- It does not name any real operator, testing house, review platform, award or association as bought, unexamined, lapsed or dishonest. Every issuer discussed is a kind of issuer and every figure is invented.
- It does not accuse any company, and no reader should infer a claim about a company from a sample. The six samples are declared on the overview and collected on the numbers page.
- It does not advise on any live dispute with an operator or an issuer, and it is not a route to a refund, a complaint or a claim. An individual case belongs with the operator’s own complaints route and, where one exists, its supervisor or ombudsman.
- It does not accept corrections from parties with an interest in how a mark is described; the samples are invented and the arithmetic is checkable by anyone.
Accuracy and corrections
The figures on this desk are illustrative and derive from the six invented samples, which are defined in full on the overview and collected on the numbers page. The mechanism described - an issuer, a scope, an entity and a recourse - is the general shape of a private mark rather than any issuer’s scheme, and a reader relying on it for a specific mark should check that mark’s own certificate and the terms of the account they hold, which govern.
